BandMLS band consists of two parts, Pep Band and Concert Band. Although there are two divisions, the group is the same. MLS band is for any person who already has had lessons with their instrument or has already participated in a band or ensemble. Pep band plays for varsity sports contests when possible. Concert Band plays for Christmas and Commencement Concerts plus a Spring Concert that is for band only. Pep Band is a lot of fun, playing pop selections to excite the crowds for the game. Concert Music is more challenging, allowing the player to become a more technical and expressive musician. |
