Gift Cards for the Steve and Diane Pitt Family

Prof. Karl Schmugge stopped accepting gift cards for the Pitt Family on February 15. Steve and Diane are MLS alumni, as are their children. Steve suffers from ALS, Lou Gehrig’s disease. Following a fire that destroyed the inside of their home and most of their belongings, Prof. Schmugge organized a collection of gift cards to help the Pitts through a very difficult time for their family. The cards allowed them to conveniently shop for items they lost and needed and even to eat. Over $5,000 in gift cards and cash gifts were turned over to the school for Prof. Schmugge to present to the Pitts. Thanks to all who were able to help our Christian friends in their time of great need.
